Fascial Release for the Lower Body is an evidence-informed fascial approach exploring the multiple fascial qualities of elasticity, plasticity, viscosity, glide, creep, and crimp. Fascia ubiquitous presence expands our view of multidirectional and simultaneous force transmission in the body. Fascia integrates and organizes both posture and movement. In this course we review fascial anatomy, function, and dysfunction of the lower body. Therapists will evaluate, observe, palpate, assess, and clinically reason to create fascia focused therapeutic plans. This course provides a collaborative learning environment between a connected group of professional healing touch experts. Explore a fascial framework to deepen intuitive touch, develop a higher level of technique application, sharpen clinical reasoning skills and provide fascia-related approaches for client care. Please bring: 1 set of massage sheets, a large bath towel, a breast towel, unscented lotion/cream, and note taking supplies.
