This class is instructed by Nicole Miller, M.S., L.M.T. , instructor at Crouse Health’s Community Engagement program. In 2004, after enjoying a fulfilling career in Higher Education, Nicole ventured into the field of Integrative Health by becoming a NYS licensed massage therapist. From the very beginning Nicole partnered massage therapy and massage education initiatives specializing in pregnancy, sports, orthopedic, and eastern modalities. She has received additional certifications or trainings including Mother Massage, Myofascial Release, Lomi Lomi, Infant Massage Instruction Certification, Massage for People Living with Cancer, and more. She has served as a massage therapy educator for Morrisville State College, Crouse Hospital, and the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage. She has provided instruction for programs including Upstate Medical University Physical Therapy department, Crouse Hospital Physical Therapy Department, Crouse Hospital Community Engagement, Clear Path for Veterans and more. She has served as a speaker at the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) at both local and state conferences. Since 2005 Nicole has served Crouse Hospital as an educator and instructor in the Childbirth Education, Integrative Medicine, Perinatal Anxiety/Depression, and Veterans Massage Certification programs. She also enjoys assisting local medical and wellness offices and practices develop Integrative Wellness service and educational programs. Gratefully, she has served patients of all life stages, backgrounds, and therapeutic needs. She enjoys helping other massage therapists do the same through the power of education.
