In this class, Japanese Facial Massage In All Four Stages, you will learn how perform an ancient, therapeutic facial massage beginning with stage one (the steaming stage) which will include the application of heat through hot towels as lifting and contouring is combined with facial drainage techniques along with an introduction to facial rolling to enhance the first stage of the facial massage. The second stage (the cleansing stage) utilizes a cleansing oil with first contact facial massage strokes, the third stage (the moisturizing stage) is facial massage pre-energizing stage, and the fourth stage (the energizing stage) is acupressure followed with acupressure and shiatsu integrated together. All four stages are specific to the décolleté, neck, face, and head. Your clients will experience increased venous circulation of the face and neck areas, relaxation, decreased tension of the face/neck/head muscles, and it will benefit clients who experience headaches, sinus problems, migraines and TMJ disorder. This course includes a hands-on practicum, as well as handouts and resources. Students will need to bring three facial towels, and a spa wrap is optional.

If withdrawal occurs 15-29 days in advance of the class date, student will receive a 50% refund (PayPal or credit card fees may apply). Student will not receive a refund if withdrawal occurs 14 days or less prior to scheduled class. A $25 rescheduling fee may apply. Special exceptions may apply.
