In this course, Japanese Facial Massage, you will learn how to perform an ancient, therapeutic massage specific to the neck, face and head. This class will teach you Japanese facial massage strokes, an aromatherapy hot towel massage and facial drainage techniques with the incorporation of therapeutic tools that can be used to enhance your facial massage. You’ll also learn how to perform an energizing form of facial relaxation through acupressure and shiatsu. This will release tension reflected in the face where stress has caused the facial muscles to become tense and tightened. Your clients will experience increased venous circulation of the face and neck areas, relaxation, decreased tension of the facial/neck/head muscles, and it will benefit clients who experience headaches, sinus problems, migraines and TMJ disorder. This course includes a hands-on practicum, as well as handouts and resources.

If student voluntarily withdrawals from a class 30 days or more prior to class date, he/she will receive a 100% refund (PayPal or credit card fees may apply). If withdrawal occurs 15-29 days in advance of the class date, student will receive a 50% refund (PayPal or credit card fees may apply). Student will not receive a refund if withdrawal occurs 14 days or less prior to scheduled class. A $25 rescheduling fee may apply. Special exceptions may apply.
